Watches I actually wanted could afford to wear.

I've always been into watches, but the ones I liked cost a fortune, and most of that is the brand name. So I worked out what I wanted, found the parts, and put it together myself at my desk. Took a fair bit of trial and error, but it works, it looks the part, and it didn't cost the earth.
